I’m not sure what the matter is, but I’ve been off my game since Tuesday night. I feel like I’m drugged. Most times I’ve taken prescription painkillers, I end up sick to my stomach, lethargic, moody… just like now. Except, I’m not taking any painkillers. I’m not taking any anything. It must be food related. *rolls eyes* Just what I need, some kind of food reaction less than a week after I poisoned myself with that cinnamon drink. Good grief. If this keeps up, I’ll have to chalk it up to a failed attempt at self-preservation and turn in my humanity card. *shakes head* I don’t know quite what to think.

Okay, I have to lumber off to work today. I am covering for someone and I’ll be off at 3pm so I can be home in time to prepare for our guests. Fear not. Grump grump grump.

Course, that also describes the symptoms of pregnancy, but gawd knows I have a tendency to think that way a lot. ;-}

If only. I so wish I were pregnant. But if I were, I'd only be a few days into it. There was one thing I ate that I've never eaten before, I'm not going to touch it again and we'll see if I improve. Meanwhile... blech.

Thanks for your concern. I wouldn't mind some positive pregnancy energy. If I were pregnant, I'd be so happy about feeling unwell that I could easily mind-over-matter and be content. If it's a food issue, I reserve the right to be grumpy. *grin*

Positive pregnancy energy, coming your way. I didn't realize that this was something on the horizon for you!

Fun we've always had. This is work! *grin*

By the way... how was that order of rooibos from the online tea shop? Which kind did you order? I forgot. I'm thinking of trying their peach. Sounds yummy.

Oddly, I just got it on Friday and I find it unbelievably tasty. It's got such a nice, fresh smell and the taste is incredibly nice. Rooibos has such a fabulous flavour - I always think of it as being the way red would taste, if we could taste colour.

(oh, and I got the rooibos and peach and the rooibos and lemon - I'd recommend either)
