How am I feeling now? Just Peachy!

I had breakfast, checked email, read LJ… then I slept for another 3 hours. I feel really great now. I called to check on the peach picking farm and they are in season and ready to be picked. I think G and I will probably head out there around 1pm. Two years ago I harvested enough to have a few fresh ones but the bulk of them I washed, cut and froze in slices. I bagged them and had peach smoothies for the whole winter. It was great. Peach is one of my favourite smoothie ingredients.

Were you and your friend able to find another place to get together and spend some time? I felt badly that I was so rude to people I had never even met before. First I invite them into my house, then I ignore them, then I kick them out. *sighs and shakes head*

Hon, it was eleven o'clock. That's a reasonable time to kick people out even if you hadn't previously been poisoned that same day. I slept in too late this morning to catch them, but we'll try to hook up on their way back down south. :)

Oh, you mean they haven't even gotten to Seattle yet? Hee hee. That's good, though. It may afford me the opportunity to make a decent appearance. *blush*

Oh no, they've headed up already. They're going to stop by Eugene again on their way back, either the 8th or 9th. Which makes our travel plans interesting, but it might be worth finagling to get two more people addicted to Savoure. ;)

We'll see. I guess we can adjust things when it gets closer to the deadline. I was planning to make reservations at the hotel up there, but we can hold off.

In other news... peach pie is a-baking! Have I mentioned that I love my new oven!?!
