We are in Nice. We arrived late Sunday night after 10 or so hours of train travel. We just grabbed the first hotel we found and it was very affordable. It even has its own bathroom, a small kitchenette and, believe it or not, the first full sized mattress we have slept on since London. Let me tell you, there was some quality cuddling on that bed! *wink and a grin*
I woke with a bit of a sore throat this morning so we really didn't accomplish much sight-seeing today. Hopefully I'll be well tomorrow and up to the Monacco trip. We'll also be shifting base locations to Avignon. From there we will see Roman ruins of Orange and the Pont du Gard. It's so exciting!
Okay, I've spent way too long on email, gotta go.
