G and I went to the coast Sunday. We spent a lovely day in Florence and then drove north for the night. We spent it in a lovely B&B on the ocean. Very scenic and romantic. It was a wonderful time. Yesterday was raining all morning so we didn’t go on our beach walk. Instead, we drove up to Newport and visited the OSU Marine Biology center. It was the first time for both of us. We spent practically the whole day there. Afterwards, G had some fish & chips, then we drove south and headed home. A lovely weekend getaway.

Actually, he ate in Newport at the wharf... but I'm thinking they probably slip the older fish out of the back door to some knarled old fisherman who can't quite get his nets up anymore. *wink*
