It was a steady stream of customers all day. No major peaks and valleys. It made the day much easier than I had anticipated given the last sale I experienced in September. Also, I had a better station. I think I made myself useful enough that the boss will keep me where I am. I really just don’t want to be sent back to the African Trade bead section. So little traffic, so boring.
Though the day went well, I am still just plain tired. I could feel my brain functions starting to shut down at certain points. For example, my math capabilities lessened considerably by 4:30 or 5. By 5:30, all synapses were not firing in their usual pace. The lapse time between the customer asking the question and me rearranging the words in my head and coming up with an answer lengthened. *blush*
Okay, time for supper and then I’m going to bed. Love to you all with the promise of being more sociable in a few days. I miss my social life.
