Sunday happenings

What a day! I am drained after a weekend of too much fun, too little sleep and hectic retail holiday shopping. I’m looking forward to finishing my LJ reading and heading to a cozy bed where I have no worries until tomorrow afternoon.

I had to do some shopping this morning so I headed out in the rain. I think I was the only one in Eugene on a bike this morning. Hee hee, the bike racks were all empty but for mine. By the time I arrived at work’s doorstep a couple hours later, I was utterly drenched. The co-worker who opened the door for me made a sarcastic comment about my new look. *grimmace* It wasn’t bad, though. I do love the rain. It makes the plants grow.

Although work was terribly busy, it was a fun day. Lots of good energy. I came home tonight expecting to make supper and call it an early night be we received a phone call from Dustin saying he and his Grandma wanted to go out to dinner with us. We haven’t seen Grandma in a very long time so I sloshed some cold water on my face to refresh myself and we went to a very nice dinner. It was such a lovely surprise.

Okay, I’ve drunk my tea and the bed calls to me. Good night to all and to all, a good night.

It's always good to hear from you on the days we can't see you. Sorry that you had to get soaked in the rain. I hope you had a nice warm pleasant nights sleep.
