Ah, The end of the day. I’m checking my email and LJ, I’m sipping warm decaf tea, I’m listening to soothing music and I’m heading to bed… perhaps in time to actually get 8 hours sleep on a work night. There is always hope.

indiecowboy’s Amber game early. It is a large crowd playing and I only had one turn in the spotlight before I had to go, but it was interesting. He gave me a character named Persephone and I pulled a lovely opening scene together to introduce myself cinematically.
“My eyelids flutter as I begin to wake. I sniff the air, yawn and stretch luxuriously after a long, satisfying sleep. I toss the covers aside and slide to the floor. I tiptoe on bare feet across the cold flagstone floor toward the window. I lean over the thick masonry of my tower to throw open the shutters. I breathe deeply of the gray, cool air. Spring is approaching. I must ready myself.
“I leave the shutters wide and approach my desk where I draw a deck of cards from the center drawer. I feel their warmth a moment before I fan the stack out upon the mahogany surface.
“A call from my sister suggests I speak to Mother. I assent, though not before I have properly bid farewell to my lord, Hades. He expects me for breakfast and will be saddened to learn that I must leave him soon to rejoin my Mother, for there is need of me in her realm.”
And now, for something completely different...
You're just the happy go-lucky type. You might have
your pet peeves, but other than that, you're
mainly calm. Blending in with your
surroundings, you're the type of person who
everyone likes. Usually it's you who cracks
jokes at social gatherings - after all,
laughter is the best medicine. Sometimes you
pretend to be stupid, but in all actuality, you
could be the next Einstein.
