January Feast Update

So, the Northern part of our tribe has said they could be present for a feast the first weekend of January. Does anyone have any input? Thursday, Friday or Saturday feast? I think it's still early enough for me to request that weekend off. Since I had to give up a wedding in December because no one could fill in, maybe she'll be amenable to that weekend.

squirrelmh was wondering how many days we were welcome for. I was assuming you wouldn't push us right back out the door after we eat.

Nope, wasn't gonna do that... nope, not me... uh-uh. Thought never entered my mind... Uh, no.


In reality, I was thinking you would come down for a Friday night event, stay Friday and Saturday if you wanted, then leave in time to be home Monday. Once I get confirmation that the first weekend of January is best, I'll need to make sure I can get that off work. If not, I'm hosed since I usually work Fri-Sunday. I'm working tomorrow and I'll check with my boss, but nothing will be assured until she makes the schedule.

I was thinking I'd leave Monday so I can get get a decent night's sleep for Tuesday. no one calls out sick the first day of school. I'll check with squirrelmh to see if this works for him.
