What a great day! I re-priced my jewelry, worked on some stones in the garage, then went out on errands. It had been raining all morning with a consistency that is rare in Eugene, so G and I took the car and made the rounds. The rain turned to slush, then it became bona fide snow. It stuck to objects and the ground. Of course the Great Australian Folke Hero (G) becomes an irrepressible child in the snow. We had a great deal of fun walking about. By the time we came home it had become rain again. I rushed out in the back yard and made a mini snow person who is sitting on the back deck now. Then we went out for a walk with the camera taking silly pictures and pitching snowballs around. I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed snow so much. When I lived in the Northeast, snow meant that I had to wake a couple hours early and shovel out an 8 car driveway and still be at work by 8am. It’s so nice to have the snow without the responsibility.

Yeah!

I’m off to make some soup.
