I realize that I forgot to post this to the community at large. My error. Here is the scoop on Orycon rooms:
I called and booked another room in the quiet area and requested that it be adjoining or as close to Lethran's room as possible. They make no guarantees that this will occur, but it is the best I could do.
Apparently, they also had no more double bed rooms available. Our choices were a King or a Queen room. We took the Queen so there would be more floor space available. We can request a cot when we get there. I also have a queen size foam pad that we use when we camp in the car.
I don't know how we are going to divide ourselves for sleeping quarters. I guess we'll have to see when the time comes. It would be great if we could have rooms with an adjoining door, but I doubt that is possible. I hate to break up the party, but I had a LOT of pressure from the Eugene crowd for a second room. At the risk of bodily injury, I felt compelled to cave. *sigh*
And now, for a weather report: It's raining!
In other news: G and I have cases of the damp. This year, instead of the usual plastic bag over my sponge-like seat, I've opted for a shower cap. It's been working great. G, however, just switched to a new seat this spring and has discovered wet-butt syndrome. After bemoaning his predicament loudly for most of the journey home from tea, he has changed clothes and seems quiet and humbled. *grin* I think I'll put a shower cap on his seat now. *snicker*

What are your favorite parts of the con and what do you mainly go for? I used to go to get drunk. :O Then I joined the cam and gamed. Now I go to get dressed up and dance.
Always fun to dress up and wiggle. I support those two pass-times.

Maybe we should arrange a meeting? I was so sad that I missed you last year.

Cramming tons of people into a room, so it is cheap! Yes, various important things to learn about going to cons. :)
I think it would be neat to meet. We could try for lunch at the overpriced resteraunt (or wander to some other place) or just have a time and place and see what happens from there. Would be great to meet you!
