I received a call from the doctor yesterday and they said Morgana's lump was a benign tumor. They are random and should, hopefully, not return.
WHAT A RELIEF!!!
She is still very painful at times but she is very strong and chipper so it is hard to tell how delicate she is at the moment. Well, except for the turtleneck. *giggle* I'm not one to dress dogs in people clothes, but the doctor was afraid she may start worrying her stitches so she gave me this white T-shirt material tube with the instructions to cut leg holes and make a turtleneck out of it to keep the area from prying tongues and teeth. Yesterday, I found her repeatedly trying to tend to her wound so she is now wearing a little white turtleneck. She is so tolerant of us human beings and the silly things we put her through. She gave me a dirty look about the whole situation and I threatened to tie-dye it so she would fit into the Eugene culture better. She snarked and looked away from me. She is an amazing communicator. Better than a lot of humans I know.
So, a few people have taken this Belief-o-matic quiz to find where they land on the list of "organized" religions. Personally, I have no entangling alliances. Proudly, I am the one and only member of the non-proselytizing faith, the Church of Carol. Here are the results of my test:
Your Results:
The top score on the list below represents the faith that Belief-O-Matic, in its less than infinite wisdom, thinks most closely matches your beliefs. However, even a score of 100% does not mean that your views are all shared by this faith, or vice versa.
Belief-O-Matic then lists another 26 faiths in order of how much they have in common with your professed beliefs. The higher a faith appears on this list, the more closely it aligns with your thinking.

I found it interesting that the religion in which I was raised was in last place on the list. I found it more interesting that Nontheist showed so high in the list. For all my disagreements with organized religions (mostly because of dogma, creeds and the herd mentality it enforces on its masses, most of the tenets I'm okay with), I feel that I am a very spiritual person who believes strongly there is a "great catalyst" spirit out there. I think, though, the most disturbing occurrence on the list was Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (23%). Yikes! That is Jerry Falwell style evangelical christianity! Gadzooks! Where did that even come from? In order to be able to sleep tonight I may have to convince myself that the 41% atheist cancels the 23% fundamentalism. Please, let it be so!
