I was looking at my calendar this morning and have discovered I am going to have to make some executive choices on which appointments take precedence over others. I have far too many things overlapping in schedule suddenly. I have decided to post this in LJ since most of the people that will be effected will be more likely to read this than if I hopped on the phone or sent emails.
When I planned to participate in Amber and Stargate games, I did so with the reservation that I could quickly become unreliable when we started to count down to our Australia trip. I had quite a reprieve due to banking complications and have been here a lot longer than I had originally anticipated. The good news on the Australia subject is that we will not be moving there permanently and may only stay this time as long as a month… perhaps shorter. The bad news is, this trip is coming up rapidly. We are planning on leaving the second week of August, though we haven’t bought tickets yet.
In the near future, I have several other situations that have presented themselves that will prevent me from meeting all my gaming obligations. I hate to be this flaky, but some of these were not at all expected. I have listed below my upcoming schedule which is subject to change.
Due to the death of a wonderful woman who was like a surrogate grandmother to G in America, we will be traveling to Seattle on Saturday the 28th and won’t return until the 30th. This will cause me to miss the Saturday night Amber game, Tea on Sunday, and either miss or be late for Ben’s D&D game on Monday night. I will heartily try to be back by six on Monday, but I can’t account for possible traffic issues on the commute back from Seattle.
The following weekend, the 3rd through the 6th, is An Tir West War for the SCA. We are planning to stay the duration camping there. This conflicts with the Stargate game on the 5th and the Sunday tea at Savoure.
The next chunk of time that we will be away for is a surprise trip to Vegas. We are going with a group for fun and relaxation. This trip will be between the 26th and the 30th. This will interfere with my Sunday tea event and Ben’s D&D game on Monday. I will be back in time for Naudiz and Pjack’s wedding. Yeah!
G and I are planning to purchase tickets to AU for the 7th. We will be gone up to a month. We will be here for OryCon. I am going to register before we leave for that. I am hoping there will be room on the floor or on top of the TV for us in the room.
Well, that’s what the calendar looks like at the moment. I’ll keep those involved abreast of changes.

Of course there is floor space for you at Orycon.

Are you experiencing any dietary restrictions besides the peanuts? I want to try to have appropriate food in the house for you. We'll have been away for a few days prior to the wedding so I won't have time to prepare a supper the night you arrive. I always have a frozen pizza available and I'll try to make sure the fridge is stocked before I go away.

Re:
Pjack and Naudiz should have known we are going, after all, I promised Brian Underhill that I'd run GURPS Stargate and he could play.

Just peanuts really.
I am trying to keep down my tomato intake, but this means no more than one tomato-heavy meal a day. Tomato heavy means spagetti, pizza etc.. I don't count salad, sandwiche toppings etc.. Basically, I've noticed that if I really overload the tomatoes, it's rough on my stomache, but if I'm sensible, it's no problem.
