I’ve been lax in my writing. There is much to say regarding the LARP and the happenings of the weekend, but the only thing on my mind at the moment is Morgana.
Morgana (my 9 year old Maltese puppy, for those unfamiliar) has had a rough year. It has been less than a year since she had a mastectomy for a breast tumor, a couple of months ago she had a rough spell of coughing due to a collapsed trachea, and now, I have found another breast tumor. Tomorrow morning she will undergo another mastectomy and possibly a total hysterectomy. She has never been fixed and never had a litter of pups, so we suspect that her reproductive system is trying to hard to find a use for itself and pumping bad cells out. Hopefully, this will solve the problem. I don’t want to continue to put poor Morgana through surgery, this needs to stop.
Needless to say, I am unbelievably saddened by this. I am worried and hopeful and all I want to do is hold her until all the bad stuff goes away. I wish there were an easier way. I’ve cleared my schedule for the rest of the week to be with Morgana and administer after-care. We will bring her home Wednesday night. If anyone would like to stop by and give her pets and support, our door will be open.
Please send good energy her way on Wednesday. It will be a long surgery for such a little girl and she will need a lot of healing time afterward as she will be cut open in a few places. I thank you for your love and support.

I cant even IMAGINE anything bad hapening to the girl....so will be sending good energy her way. SInce I cant even fathom it...it is not being given energy....so she will be fine (my logic)

My parents used to raise Afgan hounds. They would get breast cancer as well, one even got lymphatic cancer.
Best wishes to you and Morgana.

Saturday? What's going on on Saturday? The Amber game is tonight, Friday, right? Or am I mixed up?

Temporally misplaced
If you weren't up to it, I'm sure Pol wouldn't mind, or if you're not up to coming over we could always relocate. having it at our place is not written in stone, I can always bring food with me (I have to cook for the game, or I get Bad Stuff) to serve, or just order pizza for everyone and pay.

Can you call Pol and coordinate with him and we can get the location thing settled? He'd need to get a hold of the other players PDQ, don't forget to give him your address, it's safer if they look up direction on their own and not rely on Pol's dubious direction skills. ; ) My only worry is parking, your place is not very commuter friendly.
