Yesterday morning, a little finch finally found my thistle seed sock! I was so excited I called G away from his hot breakfast to watch a tiny little bird eat seed. Actually, since he stood behind me, I'm not too sure how much he saw because I was jumping up and down. Maybe he got the disco strobe light version.

Today, as I make salsa at the sink, I see that that little bird brought a friend. I grabbed the camera and got a couple pictures. Now I'll have to identify them. *gleeful*

Go and tell more of your friends, little birds! Oh, and I have a great little birdhouse for lease... it's a great deal! The location is close to a restaurant (there is a feeder right next to it), convenient to town, in the garden district of the neighbourhood in a gated community with a swimming pool.

Great photos (and advertising!). I love goldfinches, and wish I'd seen more of them this year. They were few and far between, compared to other years.

Hee hee. Yes, I think my marketing would most honestly be translated as: Little wooden birdhouse with seed tray next to it, shady, fenced in back yard with bird bath, flowers and herbs.
