Busy busy

I've been pretty flat out of late. So, here's a brief update.

I am nearing completion of the first stage of my jewelry site. I'll be soliciting critiques soon.

I've been working so steadily on that, I've thrown all save the basics of my work work to the sidelines and I've stalled the painting of the mural room's trees. The room is just filled with painting paraphernalia. I'm thinking that will be my focus when I return from the wedding and the meeting.

This morning, I picked up Alex from Bejing. He's our International student this year. Since I haven't finished the mural in the mural room, he's camping on our living room bed for a few days while he is waiting for the apartment his family rented for him is being repainted, etc. We'll likely have him through the weekend.

I don't know if I've mentioned that we were invited to a wedding of a rather influential woman in the industry who is eagerly awaiting the release of our new business solution, <ahref="http://www.i360connect.com">i360connect. We're driving down to Lake Taho on the 25th. We were going to drive straight back, then we were offered the opportunity for G to attend a heavy hitting conference in San José two days later. We are going to drive over to SanFran for a night or two, then go to San José for the conference, then drive home.

A trip to San Fran usually means I bring home more tea. Yay! We shall see what wonders taste yummy this trip.

So, it's been busy. Mom has been over every afternoon to take the girls for walks. I've been blessed with lots of social interaction and I'm really looking forward to working on my garden some more before the rains set in so it's absolutely glorious by spring. I'm thinking much of that will wait for October, too.

Okay, I need to pay some bills and then make sure G's bike is in good working order so Alex can borrow it for a ride to campus this afternoon. Then, a visit with sbloss! Busy, busy, busy!

if you bring me tasty tea i'll re-imburse you. But i hope you enjoy that trip when you take it. *hug* I have most of next week free and i should try to hang out a little before your trip.

Well, I'll bring home tea I like. I go to the tea tasting rooms and try unusual types of tea from Taiwan and China. If you drop by on Tuesday, I'll make you a cup of some of my favourites from there and see if you like them.

I can do that. My only plan for tuesday was to go to the uni health center to fil out the requisite forms and arrange for my MMR shots because my family cannot find proof that i had them even though my mom knows that i did.
