I'll cut into my posting of my Road Journal for an actually real time update.

I've been plowing through my stacks of work while continuing my house cleanse. It's quite satisfying. Yesterday, my big adventure was pulling all the shelves out of the fridge, scrubbing them and the interior of the unit, and replacing them with a supply of fresh veggies from the market. I was trying to wait until Farmer's Market this morning, but I needed food yesterday and the Thursday Farmer's Market wasn't at the Fairgrounds like I had expected. Ah well. I'll need renewed supplies by Tuesday's Market regardless.

Last night was so amazingly cool. [livejournal.com profile] pjack, [livejournal.com profile] cavemanlogic and [livejournal.com profile] jakeboone blessed my home with their presence. Happy hour*** came early for me and I was completely breathless with laughter almost continually throughout the evening. I love my friends soooo much!

Today, G and I are going to Aaron's wedding. I wish Aaron and Kat a beautiful life together full of love, joy and mutual warm fuzzies. I plan to enjoy myself fully as I will be surrounded by yet another group of extremely cool friends that make my heart sing. Have I mentioned how blessed I am? *tingles*

I also stopped at the Gem Faire yesterday morning to buy some pearls and blue topaz to make a wedding gift for another wedding in September. This is a business associate and I don't know her at all. G has spoken to her and we're working together with her, but it's all remote and I've no idea about her. I just walked around the Faire touching things and concentrating on her name and the picture of her I've seen until I felt things matched. I hope she likes them. It will be interesting to see what design they turn themselves into when I start to put the set together.

***Happy Hour: That time of the day where I go beyond tired and straight to Giddy Beyond Measure. It's the period where everything is hysterical, including people blinking. It requires great patience on the part of those around me for I am often incapacitated by mirth for many minutes at a stretch. At some point, G usually grabs the phone in case paramedics are necessary. We've not reached that point yet. Happy Hour involves no alcohol, yet I can clearly visualized a line of empty upside-down shot glasses in front of me. Really, I suspect I'm quite mentally imbalanced. *giggle*
