I left home and my seedlings had just about popped out of the soil. The tulips were going strong and the leaves were just beginning to open from their buds. I drive to Montana and there are feet of snow still on the ground in places. We woke one morning to several inches covering our car. I return and seeds that hadn't even sprouted are bushy and ready for stakes. The tulips have faded and iris and lilac are prominent. There are buds forming on my rose bush. It's almost surreal.
