I woke and met
sbloss at Sweet Life for coffee, croissant and conversation. I had a brisk walk in the cool (read below freezing) and sunny morning air. Mind you, I actually enjoy that sort of thing. *smiles* I have been attacked by puppy love and husband love. So far, so great.
The only glitch is my conversation with Christina wherein I found that Crystol is to be pulled from the mentorship program. This saddens me deeply. Still, I'm allowed to write her a letter. In this letter I can explain my intention for her, my reticence to lose my mentorship with her and I'm allowed to give her my email and mailing address so she can contact me if she desires. It'll be a hard letter to write, yet I intend to infuse it with as much love, admiration and hope for her that I can.
Since I am more convinced than ever that I want this kind of connection with a young lady, I spoke with Christina about new possibilities. She is excited and is currently making phone calls to match me with another young woman who is interested in becoming an artist, loves to dance, sing and play music. She also loves Chinese food, according to her profile. I think I can fulfill some of the art and Asian food loves for her. *grin* More on this as it develops.
Plans for today: continue to port things off my pc, a walk to the Mac store to ask for their assistance with Entourage and my PDA, perhaps even a walk up Pisgah if I can motivate. I'm already dressed for it... maybe I should stop typing and just go. That'd be something, eh? My data entry is definitely suffering with the pc not working properly, so who am I not to take advantage of it by going for a walk on a sunny day? *whistles nonchalantly and tries to look innocent*
