I neglected to mention that I've had a great week, so I had best remedy this.

I had a great week.

I had a couple of great hikes this week. I took some nice pictures. I have started my official migration to the world of Mac... there's still so much to do. I had coffee morning dates, I had fun times with friends, I met the incredibly lovely [livejournal.com profile] deromilly in person, I played with Skyleigh, I cooked some great meals and had a great meal cooked for me! Yes, Kyle brought his girlfriend over and he brought two bags of food and cooked us Thai curry over wide rice noodles... in my very own kitchen! It was awesome! Rarely do people come to my house and prepare meals for me. *swoon*

I'd love to elaborate on Deromilly. She is really great! I know her through a huge group of mutual friends and she's wonderful as an LJ friend so I know we mesh well. For me, though, once I meet someone in the flesh, it really does fill that third and fourth dimension for me. I consider my few hours with her an utter tease. I'd love to just schedule out a series of café dates with you, Deromilly, to know you better. Bring your knitting! *nudge nudge*

Today, we have a house guest. Bucket, [livejournal.com profile] dreadygoddess's handsome puppy, is here visiting us for the afternoon. We are working to reach total puppy acceptance. We have basic puppy acceptance. Bucket is great with other dogs. My girls aren't. It's getting better all the time.

I didn't know you were moving to a Mac. Hey, that's pretty neat. Let me know how it goes. We should get together one of these mornings. My mornings are mostly free.

Well, when my laptop died, G, Kyle and Lurkitty conspired to switch me to something that might be more stable for me. So, they grabbed me and hijacked me to to a Mac store where I bought Maxine. She's been great. My biggest problems are all me and the learning curve. The computer is stable. I can't say the same for my desktop pc. She's been giving me lots of trouble this month. I decided to buy a docking station and I'm going to convert to Maxine as my main computer. I just need to finish setting up important programs and I'll be more stable in my computing than I've ever been in my mind. *grin*

What time do you start work?

I start work at 2:00 pm. I have to be there by 1:00 pm in order to get a good seat on a survey I'd like to take.

Oh! Then we should meet for a nice morning coffee and croissant at Sweet Life or something! How does tomorrow morning work for you?

Works really well for me! What time? I drop biomekanic off at work at around anywhere from 7:30 to 8:00 am. I could be there from 8:00 am to 8:15 am? What would work best for you?

Hmmmm... I usually do my early morning things until around 8:30. The best time for me would be around 8:45. It would give me time to wrap up my morning duties and get there. Is that okay?

8:45 am works for me! I'll see you at Sweet Life then.
