So, amongst work, making lunch and other things while on hold, I present to you the Friday Five.
# What is your favourite fruit?
Goodness... Asian mangoes and blueberries probably tie for first place. I'm a total shameless snorgler for those fruits.
# What is the last book you read?
I finished two books about the same time: Great Sky Woman by Steven Barnes and 9 Fox Tails by Jon Courtenay Grimwald. Plus, I was concurrently reading a mess of books about Mexico, Mexico City and the Aztecs. I probably read at least four of those from cover to cover.
I'm currently reading two enjoyment books, which I usually describe as my Trashy Sci-fi novels, Gates of Fire by Steven Pressfield about the Spartan battle at Thermopylae and The Cat Who Went to Paris by Peter Gethers. This was a recommendation from Paoni. I'm not currently reading an educational book.
# Do you like any of your school photos?
Probably not. I'm not the same person I was then.
# Do you ever blowdry your armpits to get the deodorant to dry quicker?
Um... no.
# What was the last film you watched?
I borrowed some great stuff from the library. I've been watching the Dinosaur series from Jim Henson's Muppet Creature Workshop from two decades ago. Easily the best written tv series I've ever watched. *swoon* I also watched a documentary on Frida Kahlo and Walking with Monsters, part of the BBC's computer animated dinosaur documentary series. If you want to know the last movie in a theatre, it would be I Am Legend.
