Oh deer!

Last night, walking back home from meeting Crystal in the south hills, I spied two deer munching on the front lawn of a house. I barely saw their silhouettes against the darkened house and trees. Such a lovely blessing of nature after a really positive first interaction with Crystal. I see good things ahead. *hugs nature*

It's a common trick of mine to insert a photo of a deer into the middle of a stack of my road trip pictures.

When showing the pictures to someone, I explain each picture as it comes up, and the explanation for the inserted pic is always just a simple "Oh deer."

I should add that I rarely take pictures on road trips unless I see something funny or something I can make a joke out of.
