Fever. Check.
Chills. Check.
Aches in every part of my body. Check.
Gurgling cough in chest. Check.
Argh.
I canceled all my appointments today and stayed in bed. The chills and aches were so bad I couldn't sleep much. It wasn't until after G called to cancel my 9am appointment that I fell into some semblance of sleep.
*sigh*
The roughest part of this is that I'm letting down a young girl and I feel awful about that.
I have joined a mentorship program for young foster kids in the state system. I was supposed to meet her Monday after school but the woman who connects us had a medical emergency with one of her kids. We rescheduled for today, now I'm having health issues. I just don't want to go to a foster home and expose 5 kids and 2 adults to whatever muscle-melting disease I have in the moment.
Okay, back to prone.
