I've had a beautiful few days. I went to watch

dreadygoddess create musical magic with people she had never played with before. She is awesome and deserves the highest praise for being present and going with the flow in a beautiful way.

I spent that day with

lurkitty and her new baby, Bella. We tarted up and descended upon the wine bar in our finery and feathers to consume good food with good friends listening to good music.

Yesterday, G stood me up for lunch so I was able to coerce

karjack to dine with me. We spent the day in great conversation walking all over town. At tea, I had another wonderful exchange with

cmdr_zoom about brain wiring. We decided I am a concrete thinker who spends more than half her time thinking sequentially... the rest is all random, Baby! *wink*

Speaking of brains, I have lived the past two days of my life convinced that this weekend is next weekend and next weekend is this weekend. *sigh* Obviously, this hasn't been one of my more sequential moments. I mistook my Portland conference that really takes place next weekend for tomorrow. Silly, eh? Ah well. Much of my weekend is still booked, though. I have guests coming Saturday evening and I shall be a guest on Sunday afternoon. I'm sorry to still miss

biomekanic's birthday bash. Many of my weekends are booked from here into November. Crazy but cool. I guess it keeps me off the streets... but wait! I'll be hitting the streets for some of these events. Hmmm... I guess that means no one is safe. *narrows eyes and grins wickedly*
