… where things didn’t quite come together? Well I had a couple of hours of that. Thankfully, not the whole day.
The morning went very well. My plan for the afternoon was to leave the house at 1pm and begin a shopping and errand extravaganza on my bike. I had carefully planned and made a list of all the things I needed and places to get them. This involved bringing coupons and empty bottles to refill. I had mapped it all out and was packing my bag when I asked G if there was anything else I needed to take to the accountant. This led to a debate about an Excel spreadsheet he was sure I had made and I hadn’t printed. I found, printed and added it to the pile and started out the door again only to realize I hadn’t packed the empty bottles.
I was at the library when I remembered I also forgot to pack the coupons. Ah well. I’d deal with that later. I went to claim my book on hold only to realize, upon seeing it, I had already read it. The Harry Dresden books are popular so they must be requested. *sigh* I’ll have to place a hold on the next one in the series later. That was unfulfilled errand #1. On a brighter note, I guess this means the Deathly Hallows is bumped up in my queue.
I decided I should head back home and pick up the coupons before going further north. On my way back home, I happened upon unfulfilled errand #2. I stopped at the market where I tried to pick up a specialty item and they were out.
The smell of food reminded me I hadn’t eaten anything for many hours. Since I was on my way home, I thought I’d just wait a bit longer. I stopped to refill my scent oils only to discover they are having a sale starting tomorrow and it would be foolish to fill the bottles today and not get the discount. Enter unfulfilled errand #3.
I entered the house, put down my packs and hit the “reboot” button. I went back to bed. I laid there for a few minutes talking to the Universe, then rose to “begin” my day anew. I packed my coupons in my bag, had some lunchtime breakfast – hey, if I’m starting the day over, I’m entitled to call it breakfast *grins*
– then I left with G for our appointment. I drove him home then circled around to restart my errands. I missed one shop that I will hit tomorrow when I refill my oils, but it was a very successful evening. I picked up everything I need to make 3 gift cards and a bridal shower gift.
Thank the Universe for new beginnings.

I very much understand the chaos break down day. So it goes. But you handled it amazingly well!
