It's another beautiful morning in Paradise!

I'm getting rather a slow start, today. I am still trying to put order to all the chaos of two camping trips with two days between them. I think it best to spread this out and just get on with my day. Things are in enough order so I can proceed. So, it's off to the showers, then brunch preparation and eating. I have an appointment this afternoon, then I'm going to try to make my way, time permitting, to Pisgah. With all the traveling, I haven't had my walk in a couple of weeks. *pout*

While away in the woods, I did manage to cross paths with a doe and her baby. I was wandering through forest and field trying to find my way to the distant and less than adequately marked showers when the doe walked right in front of me. We had a nice little chat before she continued on her way. I didn't realize she had a baby in tow until I walked a few more paces and the baby bound out and across. There was no time for discourse with Baby, just a flash of white polka-dots, big black eyes full of "What the..." and some white tail.

Okay, G's back with eggs... I'm going to whip up French Toast.

Usually, I do... but not to an unseen, potentially dirty, definitely public, steamy and slippery shower facility in a campground! *giggles* It just seemed like a poor idea to carry a highly sensitive piece of technology into this environment. Believe me, though, I certainly did wish I could manifest one magically in my hand in that moment. It really was a beautiful image... the high grasses were golden, the sun was behind me shining directly onto the doe and the evergreens behind her... and I'm sad to have missed that opportunity for a photo. I'm imminently grateful for having witnessed and participated in the moment, though.
