My eyes are burning and tired from the allergies, I have a two day work week and a million things to finish, I am intentionally shirking one big, scary responsibility, but all in all, I'm content. I can't do more than I can do.
Yesterday, great fun was had outdoors. There was the morning hike at Pisgah then there was biking to the park and a barbeque and sporty things like frisbee and bocce. I'm not going to include the bit of a wrestle because that was a reaction to G tackling me to the ground. He prides himself on being able to use his Australian/Chinese Fu to overcome my raw and brutish tactics of trying to muscle him to the ground. Hey, I'm untrained in the martial arts. I resort to pure bile, spit and vinegar. It may not win the day, but I'm not going down without a fight.
Consequently, this morning my legs are sore. I think it's more from the effects of running on these sorry old knees than anything else. The muscles feel fine, but getting up from the squat position is, well... I need to hold on to stuff to boost my lift. *sigh* I had to keep running for the frisbee and, while it felt good at the time, I guess it falls into the "weekend warrior" trap. I'm not inclined to slow down because of the frailty of one chunk of body, but I sorely wish I had my 22 year old knees back. I'm hoping to get another decade out of them, at least. Today, there shall be very little running.

I will assume you instead mean that G throwing me about the park must have been cute. *raises eyebrow at your taste in violent cuteness*
