I have a full day of office clean-up ahead of me. I also need to make a Sell-Sheet or three. Yet, I'm sitting here dreaming of coffee. How much nicer this would all be while sipping coffee. I think, therefore, that I shall walk over to Sweet Life and walk back with a cup of the lovely stuff. Of course, this means I must put pants on. *sigh* Maybe I'll wait until G returns and ask if he wants to take the girls for a walk with me. That will be more pleasant. I'll grab some tea in the moment and get back to work.

Personally, I'm a coffee and tea snob. If it isn't the good stuff, I don't want either. I want top grade green tea from Asia, I want the water heated to exactly 90 degrees C (or whatever the tea requires) and I want it steeped for 3 minutes. Savouré did it right, Supreme Bean does well, but I usually don't drink tea anywhere else as it isn't up to snuff. I'd rather make it properly at home where I can have a proper cup.
Coffee is a bit easier. I want my good quality espresso beans with a foamed soy milk combined in a latte. The best coffees are not too bitter, bold and full of flavour. Starbucks and Full City are horrible to my taste. I'll try a coffee anywhere if they offer a soy latte, but there is a chance I won't consider it good enough.
Basically, I'm picky. If I'm starving, I'm less stringent, but coffee and tea are not something a starving person reaches for first. They are luxury goods and I have very high standards for them. I don't mean to make myself sound hoity-toity, but my feelings are, if I am going to enjoy something, I may as well indulge in only the best. That doesn't mean it's expensive, it just means quality. After all my years in the trenches, I deserve that. Heck, everyone does.
In the end, I guess I prefer the taste of tea, but since it's harder to make right, I reserve that for home. I don't have an espresso machine at home, so I reserve coffee for cafés. Does that over-answer your question, or what? *giggles*

Nah, I agree. I want the brand I want and the taste I want, or I do not want it at all.
