I took Gana into the bathroom to cut off all the mats and snarls around the abrasion areas of skin and apply tea tree oil this afternoon. During this process, I also trimmed her feet hair. As the grooming progressed, I noticed a quantity of red, red blood on my white countertop. Upon further investigation, it was all over her legs and my left hand. I panicked. I began to guiltily search for the place I must have slipped and cut her. She never complains, but I didn’t even feel myself slip. Gah! Blood everywhere! I searched and searched, and more blood kept appearing, but no cut. Mom was trying to hold her so I could search better, but no cut.
Why?
Because I had cut my own hand, not Gana.
I’m that much of a freak that I don’t feel the scissors bite into my own flesh and spend 7 minutes examining Morgana for the source, instead.
What does that say about me? *rolls eyes*

I have arranged a two day vacation for G and myself in February. I have that to look forward to in the future. Meanwhile, I'm trying to pay attention to myself, I'm just not good at it, that's all. *blush*
I promise not to go for walks unaided. *wink*
