There's 2 centimeters of snow on Mount Pisgah!!! What a wonderful surprise! *squee!* Every step moved me further into a wonderful white winterscape. I had a chocolate frog-eating grin on my face the entire walk. When I reached the top, I took off my gloves and made a little snow person and put it on the bronze pedistal at the summit. I am going to try to go again tomorrow to see if my little person is still there to greet me. I wish I had brought my camera. It was so beautiful. *swoon*
I really love to watch the seasons change. In the summer, it's brown and green and very dry but in the winter, all the footpaths and creeks are flowing with water. At the bottom, the sounds of the noisy little streams was a stark contrast to the utter stillness of the snowy summit.
