Again, I have allowed my current events to become stale before capturing them in print. Naughty me.

I’ve been mired in confusion, indecision and impotent anger the past couple of weeks. The most frustrating aspect of this period has been that the indecision and confusion that is the core of the issue are not mine directly. I have placed myself in the rather disturbing position of having to await someone else’s decision on a matter of great importance. There is a "whole story" but I don't think I've finished processing it yet. I'll have to write about it later.

Suffice it to say, I'm still alive and very well in the beautiful city of Eugene surrounded by all that is good in the universe. Regardless of impotent frustration, life is great.

I just had a friend over for tea. I made scones with jam and clotted cream. It was a wonderful visit. Yeah for great friends!

I've also been making jewelry lately. I've had such an urge. Of course, all my beading equipment is in Australia, but I've been working in mostly silver that I have on hand. I really wish I had a decent torch set-up. I have always regretted the lack of fire power. It's cramping my artistic style! *throws back head and laughs out loud* Oh well, I guess I'll save my pennies or maybe I'll just find some older man with a white beard all dressed in red, sit on his lap and whisper my desires in his ear. *snicker* We'll see what comes of that.

I'm off to make supper.

I've always wanted to have jam and clotted cream and scones - odd that I was just thinking this not an hour ago. Connectivity shows up in the strangest ways. . .

Re:

coffee flavoured tea, if you please. I spent a couple of summers in jolly olde when I was a child - t'was enough to put me off tea permanently. . . ;P

Re:

Coffee, did you say? I make a mean Vietnamese style coffee. Not a problem... although I take it as a challenge that I could turn the tide on your tea opinion. I make a fine cuppa, and not English style. I make European style tea in a French Salon style (that's where the scones and quiche come in) and I make green teas in a Chinese style. It's all far too quaint and meditational not to like. If ever you make to the Eugene area, do drop me a line.
