Lots of wonderful times, ah the joys of great friends. I’ve missed being in a house teaming with love and laughter. We’ve been absolutely crowded almost every night since we returned. It’s great! lethran staying the night, and Flex, George, Lethran, pjack and cmdr_zoom all played the new Civilization board game while I made sushi. We feasted and then hellsdove stopped by to spend some time. Yeah for the wonderful times!
On Sunday Lethran and I went to tea and met up withnaudiz who also brought theninjakitten and Ian who are visiting from southern California. Tea, scones and a wonderful chat were had by all.
I wasn’t home even an hour when the lovely goddess Jamie came over to keep me company until Flex and George returned from watching the movie The Ring. As soon as they walked in the door they began muttering about not wanting to die within a week as a result of watching the movie and they had to make sure. They got the digi camera and took photos of each other. Jamie and I were confused but smiled and nodded in a rather condescending manner as they explained that as long as they took non-fuzzy pictures of each other, they shouldn’t die. Silly boys. *snicker*
I had a yen for tapenade and cream cheese on crackers so we all made a grocery run where I bought the fixin’s for tapenade and salsa. I’ve never made tapenade before but it turned out pretty darn good if I must say so myself. The salsa turned out a little too watery, but the flavor was great. Have I mentioned I love having access to my own kitchen again?
