Still not dead...

I know. I lack the posts. I'm working on it. G has his head in business clouds so I have precious little cyber time. He's eating Stinky Fish at his family's tonight, so I'm knee deep in paying my bills, balancing my checkbook and reading email. So much to do... I'm also attempting to remedy this huge backlog and my lack of communication. Since we are stuck here, well, indefinitely, I want my own computer! I laid out my requirements and G went shopping. He's trying to buy a laptop for us through his sister and her wholesale connections. I never felt like we needed a laptop, but it seems reasonable. It's something we can take when we travel and I'll have a portable computer to work on while I'm here. I'm so excited about a computer. A computer means I can load an IM, I can keep up with email, I can read LJ (I'm so behind I'm skimming in the moment) and I will be able to have my calendar program available to me. Yay for all that. I hope they can figure out what to buy and order it soon. I also plan to order some more jewelry components so I can continue to make stuff. I'm about out of supplies and everything is three times as expensive here. Hopefully, my usual sources will deliver to Australia without costing me a body part or two.

Okay, G is home and I've not finished. He's looming over my shoulder waiting for the computer. *sigh*

I feel so out of touch. I miss you incredibly. I wish I could just freeze time and resume life back home like I had never left. *sigh*

He seems to be doing better now that he's been on medication for a week. He goes in tomorrow to have another urinalysis done. We'll see what his progress is at that time and I'll let everyone know.
