New arrivals...

The new stove and fridge are here. I’ve been madly cleaning and sorting and organizing all morning. All the food is stowed away and the fridge is now starting to feel about right. Yeah, it works! I haven’t even tried the stove and oven yet. I’ll get to it eventually.

Mom is due to arrive any time now. She called last night and was in Eastern Oregon. I’m madly laundering and tidying.

So, the house is here, the appliances are here, I am here, Mom is coming and tea is a go for 4pm. I don’t think I’ll have time to bake anything so, those with such a desire are welcome to do so. I also have pretzels and pork rinds for your consumption as they were left here last night by gamers. Please, indulge in them. Get them out of my hair. I still have the rest of last week’s whipping cream and I have a bit of half and half. I doubt I’ll be able to ride over to the Kiva to restock my supplies before Mom gets here, so I don’t know that I can fetch more cream. Even when I do get the time to go shopping, it will have to be a small one as I can only fit so many groceries in my bike bags, but I promise to be better prepared next week.
