So, the insurance lady called us back today and said her driver said he was minding his own business and we rammed into him. For crying out loud! We were stopped at the bloody red light. And thus it begins…
*Camera pans to dressing table with pots of paint in different colours. MiLady carefully dips two fingers into the red pot and applies a series of lines to her face. The feathers are already in place and the troops are rallied. MiLady goes to war.*
Wish me luck. I’m fighting this. I am calm. I am cool. I am the right hand of karma. I will see justice done. I just need someone to restrain the Great Australian Folke Hero. He is full of piss and vinegar and ready to do all kinds of crazy impetuous things that will only harm us in the end. I have had to take out the BIG VOICE to keep him from acting out when we got off the phone with the agent. I’m dealing with the issue. I have it under control. I have a plan, I have consulted professionals and they have backed up my decisions as the correct ones. I will prevail. I just need G to stop helping. *sighs and rolls eyes* I do love that man. Really, I do.
So, it may take a while, but I will have justice. Meanwhile, we are paying for the repairs so the car will hopefully be back in our hands before we take off for the trip to Washington. The parts are ordered. The paperwork is all in place, the pictures are taken. I am as prepared as I can be. I can even reprint the letters I wrote explaining what happened if anyone is that curious. Let me know if you want me to do that. I know I promised more details, but they explain it very well and I’m not up for reliving the experience in this moment.
Okay, I need to go off to work. I’m working until 6 to cover for someone, then it’s Wednesday night gaming here at Avalonne. All are, as always, welcome.
