We arrived safely back home after a wonderful weekend of fun and flirtation at Orycon. It's my last big bash before flying into the belly of the beast for a few months.

The Knee Report: We were on the sixth floor and I was thrilled to have stairs to manage. I was even more thrilled to manage them well. Yay me. Sadly, the stair travels were interrupted by a silly lack of available staircase access between the second and third floors. There was a constant bottleneck waiting for elevators the whole event. But that and the valet parking were my only two complaints about the new digs for the con.

I'm very tired from lack of sleep, so I think I'll unpack my suitcase and mosey to bed. Love to all.

glab you're all mobile again. if you're hitting the road again so soon just leave the suitcase packed and save a bit of hassle :P

Hee hee. Leaving the suitcase packed would be amusing. I would arrive in Sydney, in the middle of their summer, with a velvet cloak, suede-cloth gown adorned with chainmail, and two other heavy costumes, some dirty underthings, and that's it. I can't imagine surviving 90 degree days long wearing that. *grins*

Besides, the chaimail probably wouldn't make it through the metal detectors. *snicker*

I'm very happy with my progressing mobility. Thank you for your well wishes. *hug*

You need one of those stair-climber chairs like that old lady had in Gremlins!!!

(Except not with gremlins.)

My knees actually handled the stairs very well. I'd be far more afraid of that chair than the crackles in my knees. *shudders and giggles*
