I've been working hard to organize my house, my life and my suitcase. I've managed to accomplish a lot in less than two weeks, yet there is still so much to do.

In more positive news, I'm going to see the Decemberists tonight at the McDonald with a group of friends. I'm trying to wrangle them together for dinner first. If not, maybe we can have tea or coffee later. I really feel like I need to put in as much quality friend time as possible over the next week as I'll be so far away from them physically. I really love the physical contact with my wonderful friends. Yes, this means you. *grin* I miss it when I'm out of the country. Even though I have G, there is still a bit of a gap. Jeepers, I'm babbling already. *sigh*

Last night, G and I were part of little Skyleigh's entourage at the mall. She's 16 months old, now, and she was the most amazingly cut chicken. *giggles* She led six adults around the mall trick-or-treating. What a cutie! Where do I sign up to have one of those? Oh, right... in Australia. *half smirk*

Okay, I'm going to go fix my earplug thingie for the concert. I'm SUCH an antediluvian!

You scored as James Bond, Agent 007. James Bond is MI6's best agent, a suave, sophisticated super spy with charm, cunning, and a license's to kill. He doesn't care about rules or regulations and somewhat amoral. He does care about saving humanity though, as well as the beautiful women who fill his world. Bond has expensive tastes, a wide knowledge of many subjects, and his usually armed with a clever gadget and an appropriate one-liner.

Which Action Hero Would You Be? v. 2.0

Going to AU to get a kid reminds me of a baby rocking rhyme my mother used to use on us. She just used the first part, and it went "Today is the day they give babies away with half a pound of tea." It was popular during WWII, and the second half went, "If you know any ladies that want any babies, just snd them round to me."*wink, wink, nudge, nudge*

Later, Rosalie Sorrels rewrote the second part to make it less suggestive, "You open the lid and take out the kid, there's a written guarantee.."

Best wishes, sweet lady!
