Things are rolling along. I have a PT appointment tomorrow, I’m working on organizing acupuncture, and I’m feeling stronger. I’m down to using one crutch to support my weaker side and my mobility has skyrocketed as a result. I’m not impaired in most settings, now. I look forward with great excitement to the day when I’ll be given license to walk everywhere. Right now, I’m trying to keep a lid on my activities until I have a green light from a therapist that I’m not going to make myself worse in doing so. Optimistically, I’ll be on my bike soon, as well.

That having been said, I must run errands today. I still have to use the car, at this point, but I have faith I will be working under my own power soon. Much to do, much to do.

But, right now, it’s lunch. I took this faith quiz while eating. I actually placed pretty much exactly where I thought I would. Go me! Welcome to the non-proselytizing Church of Carol. I’m sorry, but it’s a church of one, so you may not join. But you are welcome to sit for tea and chat with me about my faith. I’ll even serve snacks. We are a very friendly faith, you see. *grins and winks*

You fit in with:
Spiritualism

Your ideals are mostly spiritual, but in an individualistic way. While spirituality is very important in your life, organized religion itself may not be for you. It is best for you to seek these things on your own terms.

Re: HMMM

I give up. How are you more spiritual than me? Sounds like a discussion topic.

Having personally visited the Church of Carol, I can attest to the truth of the above. Even down to the tea and yummy snacks! I wish there were more churches like this *wistful sigh*.

I got Spiritual, too -- but 90% spiritual and 80% reason. Must be the company you keep....

Well, I don't think I could afford to give snacks to the masses, but fortunately, the masses haven't heard of me. Somehow, I've not made the list of top 10 religions. I strongly suspect if I did, I would be most of the way toward the decline of the religion at that point. *grins*

I was reading Thich Nhat Hanh and encountered a motto for the Church of Carol:
"Every day gives us a wonderful opportunity to be happy ourselves and to becme a place of refuge for others"

Glad to hear you're getting around better. I've always wanted to try acupuncture but never lived anywhere that had practitioners. Until now - there's one a few blocks away. And I scored Humanism on that quiz - so not accurate at all.
