dreadygoddesses’ party tonight. I’m really honoured as it was a gathering of people from her university program and their S.O.s. I was the only one there with no connection to the program. There was fun music, fresh fruit, a really cool game of Apples to Apples with great people and blackberry wine. Mmmmm… blackberry wine. Of course, I’m such I lightweight that I had to wash down a few ounces of wine with 10 times that amount of water… *blush* I also think I surprised Dreadygoddess a bit by asking for it. I can’t explain it… I guess I was feeling a bit spry. *flirty wink*
Ah well. It’s time for bed now, though. Sweet, sweet sleep. I have a world to conquer tomorrow and I must be rested. Good night, all!

Y'know, you're pretty awesome. A lot of people (possibly including me, but I protest that I am shy and awkward!) would feel like that was a negative thing, like they didn't belong there. Your attitude is so much better.

I was also probably the only one there without a college degree (this is an advanced, I guess they call it post graduate program -- she's on her way to a doctorate). They were also mostly in their 20's. I think I had 7 to 10 years on most of them. There was only one man there that was likely older than me. In retrospect, I should have been intimidated to death. Ah well. Too late now. *grins* It's a good thing I'm too thick to know when I'm out classed. *giggles*
