We had guests from Portland over the past two days playing many many games. Most of the games involved Rob's X-box. They are fun to watch but far too stressful for me to play. I tend to become bored and impatient with video games after only 15 or 20 minutes unless they are really interesting and mysterious. My favorite video game of all time is Vampire the Redemption for the PC. Others from the past include the Lovecraft based series of Alone in the Dark and the 7th Guest and 11th Hour games. What all these have in common are interesting plots, likable characters and mysteries to solve. Otherwise, I might as well be reading a book.

I must go back to work. I have tasks to accomplish before I will allow myself to go to tea this afternoon. Ah, tea! Such a wonderful little luxury of life. It's hard to imagine that I really didn't like tea much at all until a year or so ago. There is such a huge gap between Lipton tea and what I'm drinking. There are some rather tasty teas that can be found in bags, but Lipton is not one of them. My favorite is the Rooibos Orange Blossom. It is both tasty and naturally decaffeinated (which means I can enjoy fruity, warm goodness right before bed).
