agthorr introduced me to his girlfriend’s friend, Lynne, who has just moved here from Texas. She is lovely and I look forward to seeing her again soon.
In other news, I baked. I had invited Agthorr and Lynne over to our house for crêpes after our dinner so I made the crêpes ahead of time and marinated the peaches in peach liqueur. Then I remembered that I promised to make the girls new treats. We’ve been buying treats for them from stores but most all of the little ones we use for tricks have beef or chicken in them. Aldina has had her ear infection for a long time and the doctor thinks it’s an allergy to one or both meats. Their food is fine, but those little trick treats aren’t. So, I’ve decided to lay down the law and completely rid their lives of those two substances for a few months to see how Aldina fares. So, I baked little puppy treats this afternoon. I made a bunch of garbanzo bean sized treats. They seem to like them well enough. I’ll likely play with the recipe a bit. This one was peanut butter. So I made the peanut butter (no salt, sugar or preservatives that way) and I ground the flour (so I could make it multigrain and more nutritional) and made the treats. Then I had leftover peanut butter and flour, so I made nut butter cookie dough. I haven’t baked it yet as I ran out of time, but I’ll do that tomorrow.
Then I found out at dinner that Lynne is gluten intolerant and so I made all new crêpes without gluten in them for us. I still have two non-gluten crêpes left,biomekanic, if you’d like them. I guess G and I will have to suffer through the eating of the regular crêpes the rest of the week. *heavy mock sigh*
Also, cut for your convenience, and only here because I was curious about the percentage of people I've met...
I didn't think they meant platonic kisses, so the only one I've been intimate with is G, obviously. It really wouldn't be a very strong marriage without some effort there. *grins wickedly*
So, I've really met 81% of my friends list. Cool!
