I was just enjoying a nice cup of match on my deck, relaxing with the puppies after their appointment and reading my herb book. I keep running across this word, carminative, and I didn’t know what it meant. I was never near a dictionary at the time, so I just ran inside to look it up. And now, you too are in the know. Don’t say I never gave you anything! *giggles* I do wonder, though, at the interesting etymological origin of the word. Carding wool and flatulence… who knew?
