What a wonderful evening connecting with friends! I’m so fortunate to have so many wonderful people wandering through my life and across my path. I had a lovely time chatting the night away with galfromdownunda, Tim and a really sweet man named Sadiki Fuller. He’s a professional comedian and a really great conversationalist. He made me a little balloon poodle with a tiny baby balloon in its tummy. Now I’m sure to be pregnant! I’m always so surprised and so honoured when people support me in my goals and choices. I’ve been given so much wonderful energy from so many, I can’t even think how to repay that. And here is this complete stranger making a connection with me and creating this charm for us. I’m overwhelmed. I really am. I can’t help but think this child will really be a community child… the result of the combined efforts of so many caring and loving individuals. How can that be anything but a beautiful thing? *swoon*

I must see about some sleep, now. I have many responsibilities tomorrow and I want to be bright eyed and bushy tailed. Good night, sweet Universe! I love you and thank you for my incredibly good fortune.

Actually, the whole group of us met at the Strand where another of her friends was playing the piano for a benefit. After the noise of the crowd departed, we stayed and chatted the night away.

I can't wait to host events at my home again, but, alas, I have no place to put anyone until G's office is done and his stuff is out of the parlour and bedroom. I have to crawl over furniture to find the couch! Gah!
