Yesterday I received the most amazing call from my friend Cat. She was my first friend when I moved to Eugene and I’ve missed her since she moved to Portland. She’s returned now and we spent most of yesterday catching up.
My bathroom floor is fixed and I just need to have the toilet re-seated. There was no dry rot. *wipes beads of perspiration from forehead*
Tomorrow: Doctor’s appointment, install toilet, remove last vestiges of carpet from the house and install flooring in G’s office. After that, I may actually be able to reclaim my house and clean it. I’m sick of living in filth and chaos.

I too am having filth and chaos anxiety. Problem is... I am the only one leaving the filth and chaos behind!! Well, those darn cats, and the various folks that stop by. But for the most part... it's my mess, and I am stirring it.
Got toilet????
