...I caught up on my quizes. Like that is something on my to do list that requires my time. It's right up there with washing the dishes, eh? *rolls eyes*

Great Gamer
GM says drop 2d10, aanndd... you roll 74% !
Not too bad- not too bad at all. You're not exactly a first generation gamer, and you probably have other hobbies besides rolling dice and slaughtering orcs, but you've managed to collect enough knowledge to impress even the most experienced gamer. Pull out a few more nights for gaming and spend some more time with the obscure books, soon you're well on your way to becomming the Ultimate Gamer.

My test tracked 1 variable How you compared to other people your age and gender:

You scored higher than 99% on dice

Question: Am I the only one bothered by the glaring spelling errors in these things?

In other news... knitting class!

From: [identity profile] deromilly.livejournal.com

Nope. Not the only one. I really wish people would spell check. :P but then again, I'm the one who left out the "l" in the word public in an essay about Tristan and Isolde. Unfortunately, BOTH words made sense in the sentence in question... Sometimes spell checking DOESN'T help.

How's knitting class going?

From: [identity profile] miladycarol.livejournal.com

*giggles* Yes, well, not everyone can be spot on all the time. All I know is that there is a plethora of misspellings on the internet and I just wonder if anyone bothers to care. Meh.

Knitting class dumped a lot of info on me about increases and decreases. I have a beret pattern that I bought and I'm staring at it wondering what all the little abbreviations mean. Gah! I'm going to attempt to struggle through it. Only one more class on Monday so I'd like to have at least attempted the pattern so she can correct me and put me on the right path.

I think that what bothers me more is the plethora of grammatical errors in newscasts, in commercials, and in non-fiction by so-called "professionals." ICK. Doesn't ANYONE know how to write any more?

If you want, let me know the abbreviations and I'll translate them for you. :)

I was thinking about running out and buying the Vogue book on knitting. I've had several people recommend it to me. If I run into a problem, I'm really glad to know you have my back.

Crafters unite!

I must surpass this beginning stage so I am able to knit those sweater patterns on that site you sent me. *drools*

I've never actually seen it that book. I've got several "needlework encyclopedias" all of which have knitting sections and that cover my needs (plus embroidery stitches... always a plus in MY book!)
