What a day, what a day!

What a great day! I chilled with G and the puppies this morning, manicured the lawn, showered, dressed, lunched on some fine Vietnamese food, picked up my bike from the shop, picked up a fine violet haired woman (aka naudiz) for an afternoon of frolicking, attended an afternoon tea with dear friends, spent an evening with indiecowboy who also cooked me a great sweet & sour stir fry, met spike_girl (who is delightful, opened up her house to me and made me feel very welcome, not to mention baked chocolate chocolate chip cookies that were quite yummy), shook a tail feather at John Henry’s 80’s night and met a long missed friend on the way back out to my car. Wheeee!

Now it’s past midnight, I have an appointment in the morning and I’m chatting with a friend online. *rolls eyes at self* Yet, it’s hard to want the great days to end. Ah well, I’ll soon be in bed surrounded by cute fluffy white puppies and, when he tires of his online game, perhaps I’ll be joined by my spouse. At least there are puppies. *sighs dramatically*

Awww! I'm sad I didn't notice you. I really just seem to make a habit of this. I must have virtual blinders on at all times. Last night a friend walked right past me and I didn't notice her until she turned and grabbed me for a hug. *sigh* Is there such a thing as being totally ignorant to one's immediate surroundings? *shakes head and sighs* I would have crossed the road to give you a hug had I known you were there. *pout*
