Last night one of the puppies didn’t feel well. After I cleaned up the mess, I made a nest on the couch, curled up in the middle of said nest of pillows, and soon had two puppies draped over me. It wasn’t long before I drifted off to sleep. Taking this as a cue, I prepared for bed. I snuggled down into the covers and began to relax… but sleep eluded me. I finally decided that it was because I was alone in bed. G was busy at his desk, so I tried to entice the puppies to bed. No dice. I even tried a bit of begging. So sad. I couldn’t manage to lure anyone to bed with me. *sighs* So, I went back to bed alone and started reading. Eventually, Morgana (in a move I can only assume sprang from pity) eventually wandered into bed with me. Soon, I was fast asleep and didn’t wake once until morning.
