Today I’ve cleaned all the linens in the living room, changed the spool on the weed whacker, whacked away front and back. I’ve done some weeding, begun to attack the blackberry brambles that were trying to overtake the lilac tree and I’ve trimmed all those lilac shoots that were trying to turn my tree into a large bush.
Which brings me to a possible group creativity project. I now possess an armful of fresh, green branches averaging a meter long and about 5-8mm in diameter. Who is into the notion of weaving these puppies into some outdoor art or even a trellis of some kind? I’m planning to work with Naudiz on some garden improvements and I foresee some lovely tea parties under the black locust tree on warm spring days, so you’ll have lots of opportunities to admire our joint project. Anyone for coming over tomorrow and working with sticks?
It’s 2:30 and we’re going to have a group shopping excursion. We’ll be back in time for Wednesday night gaming. Not a bad day’s work. Especially considering the lovely surprise of breakfast with Naudiz and Pjack. Mmmm… veggie eggs benedict with dill hollandaise sauce… mmmm…
