Just a little something I did this morning while waiting for G to shower.

You are 'programming in QBASIC'. This programming
language (of which the acronym stands for
'Quick Beginners' All-purpose Symbolic
Instruction Code'), which is so primitive that
it cannot easily be used for any purpose
involving the Internet nor even sound, was
current more than a decade ago.

You are independent, in a good way. When something
which you need cannot be found, you make it
yourself. In writing and in talking with
people, you value clarity and precision; your
friends may not realize how important that is.
When necessary, you are prepared to be a
mediator in conflicts between your friends.
You are very rational, and you think of things
in terms of logic and common sense.
Unfortunately, your emotionally unstable
friends may be put off by your devotion to
logic; they may even accuse you of pedantry and
insensitivity. Your problem is that
programming in QBASIC has been obsolete for a
long time.

What obsolete skill are you?

Is there really such a thing? They seem like opposing sections of the brain... maybe this explains some of my personal, um, eccentric flavour? *grins wickedly*

(Lech boyfriend Mackie speaking) Not opposing, just rare. It has always seemed logical to take emotions and the complexity of the human mind into account, and illogical to think of any equation dealing with humans which doesn't take these all-important human traits into account.
Just most "logical" people aren't very logical. :)
You seem delightfully analytical, which has always been important to the process.

Er, anyway, seems like another good term for combining logical and empathic approaches is "wise."

So, this isn't you, Kirei? I'm sorry, I'm sure I know you but my brain isn't associating those names with a face in the moment.

Regardless, I thank you for your opinion of me. I rather like the idea of "wise." *low bow* I'd love to hear your version of just how you feel logical people aren't logical. I agree with the statement for the most part, but it's always fun to hear how people arrive at the same conclusions. Often, the scenery is quite different on our paths, though the destination be the same. *smiles*

In completely unrelated news, I now have the Firefly DVDs to loan to you and G. Is there a day good for you guys for me to drop those off? I'm free Wednesday evening up through Saturday afternoon.

Actually, I was wondering if I should bring Naudiz some soup. Maybe I should swing by tomorrow.

Wednesday evening we have our usual game night. You are certainly
welcome to that. I suspect the boys are going to play Magic.
Otherwise, we can get together later in the week. Let me know if
afternoons or evenings work better and we'll pick a day. I have
nothing planned concretely as of yet.

Also, I have two Buffy sets and the Tick tapes to return to you.
