Adventures and beyond!

I had a wonderful day Friday with dreadygoddess. We spent the whole afternoon together bonding and improving my artistic résumé. Then we watched a really interesting movie… “The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.” What a trip. It is certainly one for discussion.

I went off to work today running completely on adrenaline from sleep dep. I’m not insomniac at the moment, just not spending enough quality time in the sack. Well, at least not enough quality sleeping time.

So work was fun. It’s a Saturday, which is ridiculously busy to begin with, compounded by pre-Christmas shopping. Wheeee! On sleep dep! Wheeee! It was a blast! The hardest part was the sine wave of ups and downs. I’d be busy helping 3-4 sets of customers all up and down the cases, then they would be done and the store would be cleared out but for a few. I’d be on overload, then have no one to serve and be high on adrenaline. This happened several times over the course of the day.

Then I met agthorr and G for a wonderful dinner at Ta Ra Rin restaurant, after which I walked back to Comedy Sportz to watch indiecowboy in his premiere performance on stage. I was so happy that a large group of us showed up to support him. He clearly owned a good 1/3 of the audience. Apparently his parents were sitting right near us and I didn’t know it. I would have loved to say “hi” and tell them how honoured I am to have their son in my life.

Indie rocked the house and I cheered and cheered. A few of the skits made me laugh so hard my socks almost slid off my feet. A very fun evening. Afterward, we took Indie out to Sweet Life for sticky, sweet goodness. He’s my personal hero of the day for being so brave and so quick-witted up there in front of all those people. He had no idea we were going to be there and I’m so proud of him and our group for all the love and support we have for each other. My life is truly blessed by all the wonders of the Universe and I am humbled and thankful that all these good times and great people are in it with me.

Thanks again to kireishojo for the wonderful gift of fresh fruit. Not only is it a wonderful gift, but it is even better knowing she made a killer deal to buy it. Good job!

Thanks also to cmdr_zoom for kicking my butt into high gear trying to beat the people in cars to Sweet Life! We rocked! If we hadn’t hit that red light on 11th, we would have beat them!

Big hugs to the Universe and love and peace to everyone in it for my wonderful life. Sorry if it’s all sentimental and gushy, I’m having a warm fuzzy moment… and you’re all invited!

Awwwwww....thanks. It was no big thing. But I was super glad you were there. I felt very loved and supported. And it was a COMPLETE surprise!

Thanks for the pastries. I am so blessed. Sorry about not introducing my parents to you. My mind was in such a space. I only really only saw you and your hubby....everything betond that is a blur.
