Hey, I’m back. Actually, I never physically went away, but I couldn’t post. At least, I thought it only fair to myself not to post. When I write, my feelings broadcast through and my feelings had been so down, I really had nothing constructive or positive to say. I turned a corner on Wednesday and I’m feeling much more myself. Yeah me. I guess the physical and the emotional aspects of my current situation conspired against me, but I’m coming back. So, I’m here. I’m still feeling like I only want to surround myself with quiet, peaceful, nurturing situations, but at least I feel like being out in the world again.

On that note, I must hop in the shower to deal with the bead-mongering hoards that want their stuff and want it NOW, gosh darnit! ‘Tis the season. *shakes head and sighs*

What do you mean by saying that you can't do all this fancy work with expensive beads for under ten dollars, and have it done by tommorrow? It's just beads! How expensive can they be?! What do you mean it takes time!? And that people put in orders before me!!!!!? I and my needs are more important!!!!!

I just love people, especially this time of year. Soooo glad I no longer work retail.

I consider it a challenge to my patience in my mature years. I've never had to work retail before. I enjoy seeing if I can take the cranky ones and turn them around. It's my very own little social experiment. Actually, we're fortunate in that most of our patrons really like us and want to be there. They know how busy we can be and are willing to wait or tolerate us serving multiple people simultaneously. I enjoy the rush. I am a wee bit sadistic, eh? *grins*
